We take all submitions of orignal art or writing from Lawrence, KS area artists. Submitting work and having your work on artstew is totally free! By submiting you work to Artstew Magazine you are agreeing to allow you submitions to be shown on www.artstew.org and Artstew Magazine Print only. We will not use your images in any other way without your permission. This site is for you. Please submit ONLY your own work. Do not submit pornographic imagery, nudity is alright as long it serves the art.

Also, if you want to submit a regular article, editorial, or art project please e-mail me (Scott Stewart), and let me know you idea. If your project is interesting, and you submit new stuff in a timely manner, you could have your own feature. I will e-mail or call to let you know if your feature will be in artstew.

WHAT KIND OF WORK SHOULD YOU SUBMIT?
Basically you can submit anything. If you just create art or write for fun, or if you are a professional, please submit your work. People want to see your art! If you have really cool work you might even get your own section on artstew. If your think your work would be a good fit for artstew, We probally will too. Please submit art of any style and media, creative writing, editorials, interesting articles, school papers, and any funny stuff. Do you make music? Do you make animations or video projects? If so, submit that as well. We would like artstew to be a good place for all types of creative expression.

HOW TO SUBMIT
You can submit work in three different ways.

1. Submit electronic files of art via the web using the Art Submit Gallery
   a. Click on the link for Art Submit Gallery.
   b. Register
   c. Create a Album.
   d. Upload your work to that album.
You and others will be able to view your work immediately, We will pull the work from the Art Submit Gallery to put it into the main pages on artstew periodically, anywork that you post to the Art Submit Gallery will stay there untill you remove it or I remove it, which I will only do if it is shown not to be your own work, or if is of a graphic nature.

2. Submit art and writing via e-mail at submit@artstew.org
   a. Include your full name, e-mail, and phone number.
   b. Include and information about your work that you would like to be included with you images or writing (description, artist bio, whatever)
   c. We will include your name and e-mail address with the work so any interested parties can contact you. If you DON'T want your e-mail shown, let us know. OR if you DO want your phone number or mailing address shown let us know, otherwise we will NOT post that information.
Please send us only three images at a time, each less than 100Kb. Writers you can send me as much text as you want within the e-mail, or as a attached .doc or .txt file.

3. Submit work via postal service
   a. Sent to: Scott Stewart, P.O Box 442398, Lawrence, KS. 66044
   b. Include your full name, e-mail (if you have one), your phone number, and any information that you would like to be included with you work (description, artist bio, whatever.)
You can send me photos or your work if you don't have digital files. If you do have digital files, but do not have the means to convert them to a small enough size or if you have a lot of work that you want to post on artstew you can send us a CD in the mail. If you have homemade music or large animation files, a CD in the mail is the best option. If your a writer but don't have regular access to the internet or a e-mail address you can sent us .doc or .txt file on a CD or 3.5 floppy disk. (Anything you send us will be kept for future reference, it will not be returned.)

If we have time, we would be happy take photos of your work for the magazine, if you do not have a camera or a computer. Or if you are having a show somewhere, we can take photos at the show and do a article about it for the magazine. Please e-mail us with the details.
